The Colombian Distillery Dictador was founded in 1913 by Don Julio Arango y Parra, while today it is run by his nephew Don Hernan. In 2009, a successful Polish entrepreneur, Mariusz Jawoszek, entered into partnership with Don Hernan, who redesigned the packaging and image of this product by combining excellent quality with a contemporary and cutting-edge presentation. The Dictador Rums are produced following strict quality controls and the barrels are filled and kept at the highest level, to reduce the phenomenon of evaporation.
