Alkorta

In 1976 Miguel Angel Alkorta started his business in the food sector and was committed to improving the procedures for treating certain products. In 1993, together with their brother José Ignacio, they distinguished themselves by the preparation of cod as their main product.

In 1999, in full entrepreneurial development, they established COMERCIAL ALKORTA ANAIAK as a limited company and began to invest in new structures and larger and on modern machinery for food processing, desalted cod being the distinctive feature of the company.

The constant growth of the company led, in 2009, to the transfer to a new production structure over 3,700 m2, equipped with the latest technologies for the treatment, conservation and preparation of our products, with the maximum guarantee of hygiene and quality which allows us to continue to be at the forefront in the preparation and distribution of desalted, salted and frozen in salt.
