Active since 2016, Chorlton Whiskey is an independent bottler from Manchester: behind the brand is David Bennett, a great whiskey enthusiast who in 2016 decided to transform his passion into something more.

Since the first bottling has demonstrated its ability to select excellent barrels, always taking into account the need to reach the consumer at an affordable price. His releases are not divided into series, but a bottling comes out every time David finds a cask that meets his needs and his taste.

To immediately characterize its bottlings are the labels, made with an unmistakable style. The former bore illustrations from the Book of Miracles, a German manuscript from the 1500s; from 2020 David has changed primary source, while remaining in the medieval-Renaissance theme. Now the images are beautiful miniatures taken from the Tacuinum Sanitatis, a fifteenth-century manuscript kept in Vienna.
