Caroni is now a cult throughout Europe: the distillery has been closed since 2003 and the bottlings of the few remaining barrels are gaining more and more value among collectors.

The stock is becoming ever smaller, considering the incredible Angel Share in Trinidad, up to 10% per year.

Parallel to this, refinement is always fast and in fact the old Caroni of 20 years should be considered as 50 or 60 years in continental weather.

The latest releases of 2016 were literally "burned", among the few markets where bottles were sold.

The search for the bottles of the first 90s is fervent, that of the very few bottles left of the 80s has become almost impossible.
