The ceramic bottles of the Perna mill are modern reinterpretations of the ancient Lucan amphorae, made and hand-painted by Lucanian artisans. With the colours of nature, these bottles represent the design craftsmanship Made in Basilicata.
La Majatica, a cultivar of ancient Lucan tradition, and Justa, an indigenous variety of Campomaggiore, first joined in 1968 thanks to grandfather Battista. Since then, the mill has produced an elegant and delicate extra virgin olive oil, an authentic fruit of the Lucan territory. This high-altitude oil, coming from the olive trees of the Lucan Dolomites, is known for its strong health properties.
