Karukera Single Cask 2008 Fut 26 - 70 Velier
Since 1895 in Guadeloupe, the domaine du Marquisat de Sainte Marie has perpetuated the tradition of growing sugar cane and distilling the juice from which Rhum Agricole is born, appreciated by all connoisseurs of the world.
It is within this Domaine, located between the volcanic massif of the Soufrière and the Atlantic Ocean, that the Karukera rhumerie is located where the distillate is aged to develop its qualities.
Aged in French oak barrels in July 2008, the rums evolved thanks to the tropical oceanic climate, in a different way for each barrel.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Velier company, Luca Gargano has selected two barrels of this vintage. The two barrels were bottled at the natural grade without cold filtration.
