Macallan Rare Cask Batch n°1 2019
Straight from the heart of Speyside, Macallan's Rare Cask 2019 is a Single Malt that ages in 25b types of different wood, all strictly ex-Sherry.
The nose begins with aromas of vanilla and raisins that slowly give way to fruity notes of apple, lemon and orange. In the mouth, however, it is clean and rich, woody oak flavors prevail, while vanilla and chocolate lead to a long finish that leaves the mouth fresh and citrusy.
The Rare Cask will now be distributed every year in a series of small batches: the 2019 release includes 4 different Batches, while in 2018 they were 3
