Grillo Costadune 2020
100% Grillo, white berried grape that tells the story of the Sicilian terroir in the wine sector. This variety is grown by the Mandrarossa winery in vineyards between 80 and 200 meters above sea level, facing south. Here the terroir is coastal characterized by a sandy subsoil. After a short cryomaceration, the must ferments in steel containers for 3 months, then a period of maturation of 3 months in glass before being sold.
In the glass it has a straw-yellow color. Young the nose, which tells of aromas, from balsamic to fruity, touching even more marine notes. On the palate it is light-bodied, dynamic with a sip that flows smoothly thanks to a beautiful mineral and saline texture. A good white with a very convenient quality-price ratio.
