The Smith & Cross brand is one of the oldest sugar and alcohol producers. The story begins in 1788 with a sugar refinery located at 203 Thames Street within the London Docks. Over time, the company became one of the most important rum traders in Jamaica with large warehouses along the banks of the Thames. Smith & Cross is now the successor of Smith & Tyers and White Cross who have worked side by side for generations in the site that is now home to Hayman Distillers.
