Barolo Ravera 2017
Grapes from the single Ravera vineyard located in the municipality of Novello, with about 4500 plants per hectare of 28 years of average age. Ravera di Novello is a fabulous hill with south-west exposure, with limestone-clayey soil. Aging for 32 months in large oak barrels.
Intense garnet red color. On the nose, initially austere, it recalls complex floral notes that open in the glass with the passing of minutes, hints of red fruit, chalk and white pepper stand out. On the palate it is fine with sensations of ripe red fruits. The taut and compact tannin makes the wine very classic. Vibrant and vertical acidity. Extremely elegant and refined.
We recommend decanting it a few hours before serving.
Ideal with game, red meat, mature cheese.
