Tequila Anejo Don Julio
Anejo Don Julio tequila boasts sixty years of tradition and a process still largely done by hand.
The production is personally supervised by the eighty-year-old Mastro Tequilero Don Julio who chooses only the best blue agave plants, with more than 20% sugar and grown for at least 10-12 years in the Mexican hills of Jalisco.
Don Julio Anejo is produced with double distillation and left to age in oak barrels for 18 months.
It appears with a light amber color and is expressed on the nose through herbaceous aromas in a combination of fresh citrus fruits such as lime, grapefruit and mandarin with a slight touch of caramel.
