Masahiro Okinawa Japanese craft gin recipe 01
In 2017, Okinawa Gin was born on the southern island of Japan - Okinawa.
Inspired by Okinawan tradition and culture, Masahiro Shuzo decided to use distillation techniques for local spirits in Awamori (rice distillates). Unlike distillers from Western countries, Okinawa gin is distilled in 2 different individual stills to create a unique flavor that cannot be found anywhere else.
The nose has a citrus aroma with freshness originating from a traditional Japanese distillate: rice spirits. A gin that gives a fresh and lasting taste in the mouth thanks to its citrus fruits and southern botanicals from Okinawa
